FIRST LISTEN: FISHING 'CHOY LIN'

I don't think music's progression will ever cease to amaze me. Taking a simple look back ten, twenty or thirty years and hearing the sonic evolution, mixed with the digital explosion and accessibility is always interesting. Most bands used to require four to five musicians to create the wall of sound one or two produce nowadays. It's nothing new, and I'm not saying it's always good/bad. It's just fun, which is what the two Australian guys behind FISHING (Facebook // Twitter) seem to be having a lot of when making their tunes. Check out their upcoming release 'Choy Lin,' an electronic journey from tranquil beats to layers of synths and sampled vocal patterns. Their site is loaded with downloads and their is a video after the jump of the illusive duo.
